This campaign concept of “#TRENDINGSINCE1914” is a somewhat cheeky nod to the client’s 100-year heritage of cutting-edge work, while establishing a contemporary presence of digital creativity with exciting startups, presenters, and events at SXSW 16.
The wordmark takes a minimal, bright and strong configuration to create a confident presence and draw viewers in, sparking curiosity to find out more. The hashtag leads viewers at everytouch point to social media platforms as a starting point to experience our latest buzzing topics.
The supporting collateral, engagement, and marketing strategies were conceived to connect active job seeks and other audiences with Booz Allen’s deep expertise in digital, data science, and IoT fields. For many attendees, this story was unexpected and captured interest in a client that wasn’t just hip, but had plumbed the ocean depths and walked on airless moons.
At SXSW ’16, we hosted 3,900 attendees, served 2,000 cups of coffee, and hosted 25 speed demos at the annual Tech Breakfast. We also hosted 6 partner programming sessions, and were exclusive sponsors for the 19th Annual Interactive Innovation Awards event. Following the awards party, co-hosted with Docker to produce the beta launch of our Codelift product.
